The Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center (aka CARE House) has been providing VITAL and UNIQUE services for child abuse victims and their supportive caregivers since 1989.

Due to the local population growth, we are serving more and more kids in need everyday. Our community has rallied around these precious local children through our 2017-2018 RESTORING HOPE, REBUILDING LIVES campaign, and through the incredible generosity of many companies, foundations, groups, and individuals, we are in the process of adding 3,000 square feet to our current building in Summerdale, Alabama. This building is crucial for us and will allow us to continue serving abused children in a warm, welcoming, secure, child-friendly environment. We want the kids to feel as safe and as comfortable as possible during this difficult time.

The building process is almost complete, but we also need to FURNISH the new rooms! We must raise additional funds in order to obtain needed furniture for the following rooms:

• 2 new forensic interview rooms for children
• 2 new waiting areas for children and families
• A new family meeting room
• Offices for TEAM members
• 2 new observation rooms for our TEAM
• Training room for our community
